On a larger ssd drive - it installed like dream and Windows downloaded all the necessary drivers - the only one missing was the ACPI driver and that was available elsewhere.Īnyway my Eee PC has had the same compatibility message as yours about 915gm. I successfully upgraded one of them to Windows 7 (it had run XP previously)
Nothing wrong with old hardware! I have four Eee PC's which all have the Intel 915GM - and they were produced in 20 so 915gm was still being used only 6 or 7 years ago.
